Complimentary Photo Audit

Does your food look as good online as it does in person?

Most people decide what to order before they ever walk in. We’ll personally go through your Google profile, your website, your delivery-app listings and your social media, and tell you where stronger photography would make the biggest difference.

Personalized review · No obligation · No automated score

Why it matters

Your food is being judged before it reaches the table.

By the time someone tastes your cooking, they’ve already made a decision using a phone screen. They scrolled a delivery app, glanced at your Google listing, maybe opened your website or your Instagram, and compared all of it against three other restaurants doing the same thing.

None of that reflects how good the food actually is. It reflects how well the food is represented. A dish that sells out every weekend can still get skipped online because it has no photo, or because the photo it has was taken quickly on a phone two years ago.

What we look at

Every place a customer sees your food before they order.

We go through your listings the way a customer would — on a phone, quickly, comparing you to the restaurant next door.

Google Business Profile

Which image shows up first, whether it features your food, and how complete the photo set looks to someone deciding in ten seconds.

Website and online menu

Whether the menu is carried by photography or by text alone, and how the images hold up on a phone.

DoorDash

Photo coverage across the menu, which items are missing images, and how your listing reads next to nearby competitors.

Uber Eats

The same coverage check, plus whether the images match what’s running on your other platforms.

Grubhub

Listing completeness and image quality, including anything that looks outdated or inherited from an older menu.

Instagram and social

How the feed represents the food, and whether anything there could be working harder on your other channels.

Consistency across platforms

Whether a customer moving from Google to your site to a delivery app sees one restaurant or three different ones.

High-priority dishes

The items worth photographing first — your best sellers, your highest-margin plates, the dishes people come for.

Hero and featured images

The one or two images doing the most work on each platform, and whether they’re the right ones.

What you receive

A short, specific review of your restaurant.

Not a score, not a template, not a PDF with your name dropped into it. Observations about your listings, written after actually looking at them — and useful whether or not you ever hire us.

Personalized findings

What we saw on your platforms specifically, in plain language, with the reasoning behind each observation.

Priority photo opportunities

The dishes and images worth addressing first, ranked — so you know where a small amount of effort goes furthest.

Platform-by-platform notes

Separate observations for Google, your site, each delivery app you use, and social — because each one has different requirements.

Screenshots and examples

Where it’s clearer to show than describe, we’ll include what we’re looking at.

Recommendations you can act on yourself

Some of what we find is fixable in an afternoon without hiring anyone. We’ll tell you which parts those are.

A clear suggested next step

One recommendation for what to do first, whether that involves us or not.

Examples

The kind of thing an audit usually turns up.

These are illustrative — common patterns we see, not findings about any particular restaurant. Yours will be specific to your listings.

Best-selling dishes have no photo at all on the delivery apps, while lower-margin items do.

The first image on Google is the dining room or the sign — not the food.

The website and DoorDash use completely different photo styles, so the restaurant reads as two brands.

Several menu photos are cropped too tightly or lit unevenly, making the portion look smaller than it is.

Signature items sit below less important dishes, so nobody scrolls far enough to see them.

One session could cover the gaps on every platform at once, instead of shooting for each separately.

There are strong customer photos worth building on — but no consistent library the restaurant controls.

Existing photography is good but incomplete, so a short top-up shoot would do more than starting over.

Every audit is different. Some restaurants need a full menu shoot; plenty need four photos and a reordered listing.

Who’s reviewing it

A Denver photographer who works on restaurant listings every week.

AesthetiCo is a Denver restaurant photography and short-form video studio. The audit is done by Matt Yeandel, who shoots this work directly — not passed to a marketing team or generated by software.

Our restaurant work includes direct AesthetiCo sessions and assignments completed through DoorDash’s restaurant photography program, which means firsthand familiarity with what delivery platforms require and how those images perform next to everything else a restaurant is running.

Built for every channel

We photograph with delivery apps, Google, websites, menus and social in mind at the same time, so one session covers all of them.

Practical, not precious

Shoots are planned around your service, your kitchen and your hours. We work around a slower window rather than closing anything down.

Fast and reusable

Photos are delivered in 48 hours with commercial usage rights included, formatted for each place you’ll actually use them.

How it works

Three steps, about two minutes of your time.

01

Tell us about your restaurant

Send your restaurant name and website. If you have delivery-app or Google links handy, include them — if not, we’ll find them.

02

We review your online presence

We go through your most important customer-facing platforms personally and note where the presentation could be stronger.

03

You get the recommendations

A short, specific write-up of the biggest opportunities, ranked, with a clear suggestion for what to do first.

Request your audit

Send us your restaurant. We’ll take it from there.

The only things we really need are your restaurant name and your website. Everything else just makes the review faster and more accurate.

Something went wrong sending your request. Please email us directly at matt@aesthetico.us.

Your information will only be used to prepare your audit and contact you about your request. Each audit is reviewed individually, so turnaround depends on how many are in the queue that week — we’ll tell you when to expect it.

Got it — your audit request is in.

Matt will confirm by email within one business day and let you know when the review will be ready. If anything’s missing, he’ll ask for it then.

Questions

Before you send it.

Is the audit really complimentary?

Yes. There’s no charge and no card required. We do these because they’re the most useful way to start a conversation with a restaurant — and because some of what we find, you can fix yourself.

Is there any obligation to hire AesthetiCo?

None. We may recommend photography if that’s genuinely what would help, but you’re not required to buy anything, and the recommendations are yours to use either way.

Is the audit automated?

No. There’s no score, no crawler and no generated report. Matt looks at your listings himself and writes up what he sees.

What platforms will you review?

Your Google Business Profile, your website and online menu, whichever delivery apps you’re on — DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub — and your Instagram or other social accounts.

What happens after I request it?

You’ll get an email within one business day confirming the request and telling you when the review will be ready. Then you receive the write-up. Nothing else happens unless you want it to.

Do I need to be in Denver?

The audit itself works anywhere, but it’s most useful if we could actually shoot for you afterwards — so it’s offered for Denver and the surrounding area. Ask if you’re just outside; a travel fee may apply outside the metro.

What if I already have professional photography?

Plenty of restaurants do, and the audit is often more useful in that case. The gaps are usually coverage and consistency — good photos that never made it onto the delivery apps, or a set that’s aged out of the current menu.

Can you fix what the audit finds?

Most of it, yes — that’s the photography side of the business. But the audit isn’t a sales document. If the fix is reordering your menu or uploading photos you already own, we’ll say so.
